Flynote

Statutes — Dangerous Drugs Act [Chapter 319] — ss 9(b) and 19 D — appellant in possession of 501 grams of dagga — intended to take dagga to his home in the communal lands where "ancestral worship ceremony" to be held — dagga would be thrown on the fire — intention that fumes would be inhaled by people present at ceremony — ancestral spirits would then manifest themselves through mediums present at ceremony — whether possession under these circumstances was intended for distribution or supply to others — what sentence appropriate under the circumstances.
