Statutes — Police Act [Chapter 98] — s 76 — actions against member of Force or Government — must be commenced within six months of cause of action arising — Road Traffic Act 1976 — actions against insurers for injuries caused to third parties — undertaking by Government in terms of s 22(2) — does not make Government an insurer — Governments liability in terms of undertaking only arises if there is legal liability by Government employee concerned.
