Criminal law — Precious Stones Trade Act, 1978 (No. 8 of 1978) — section 3 (1) — possession of rough or uncut emeralds - "precious stones"- fact that particular stone has no commercial value does not exclude it from definition — mandatory sentence alteration of verdict or review to one where mandatory sentence is provided — High Court of Zimbabwe Act, 1981 (No. 29 of 1981) — section 29 (2) effect is that such sentence must be substituted even if it means increase in sentence.
